Marry Me Chicken & Rice Soup just got an upgrade with @MinuteRiceUS Hot Honey Chicken Seasoned Rice Cups! The perfect balance of creamy, savory, and a little heat—trust me, you need this in your life. One bite, and you might just say “I do!”
1. Start off by chopping your veggies, carrots, celery, and one whole onion setting those off to the side.
2. Grab two chicken breasts and slice them in half as evenly as possible. Grab your seasonings and olive oil and spread them out on both sides of the chicken breasts until they are seasoned with flavor.
3. Grab a Dutch oven/large pot, add in some oil to the bottom of the pan and cook each chicken breast until all sides are golden brown and cooked through.
4. Next add in more oil to cook down your diced onions for a few minutes until they are translucent. Add in 1/4 cup of chicken broth to pick up the remaining flavors from your chicken breast that you could pick up from your onions. Then add in your other veggies and garlic and cook everything until softened. Please season with salt and pepper and the same seasonings as the chicken breast in between each layer.
5. Add in 4 tbsp of Tomato Paste and you need to caramelize the tomato paste for a more depth of flavor. Then mix it in with the veggies before adding in the rest of your chicken broth.
6. Add in 1 cup of heavy cream and let everything boil for 10 minutes to thicken everything up. Now it’s time to prepare 2 Minute Hot Honey Chicken Seasoned Rice Cups (microwave 2 for 90 seconds) and add them to your soup mixture. Add in your chopped chicken and topped your soup with some Asiago Cheese. Serve and Enjoy.
